To celebrate World Ice Cream Day, we organized a delightful summer gathering for our employees at our offices, creating an atmosphere filled with laughter, positive energy, and, of course, plenty of ice cream.

Employees had the opportunity to spin the Daisy of Fortune, take part in a fun challenge, enjoy a refreshing cocktail or a five-minute massage, and connect with their colleagues in a relaxed and cheerful environment. The event offered a perfect opportunity to take a short break from everyday responsibilities and enjoy quality time together.

This year, we added a creative new element to the celebration by launching the Ice Cream Lab 2027 for the first time. Employees were invited to share their boldest ideas, unexpected ice cream flavor combinations, and innovative concepts. Once again, we proved that the most inspiring creations often emerge when we dare to think differently and step beyond the usual boundaries. The Product Marketing team will carefully review and analyze all submitted ideas to identify those that could inspire future ice cream innovations and stories.

As World Ice Cream Day also attracted media attention, we hosted a press conference to present the latest developments and future direction of the Incom Group. Founder Andrej Slokar shared the story of the Group’s growth, introduced its individual companies, explained the organizational structure, and outlined future strategic steps. Commercial Director Matija Šinigoj presented upcoming sales development plans, while Petra Komel Gentilini, Manager of Own Brands LEONE and AL!VE, officially unveiled our latest ice cream innovation — Daisy Cone.

With Daisy Cone, we are introducing a paper cone wrapper that replaces composite packaging. This thoughtful step forward represents more than just a product innovation; it reflects our broader commitment to sustainable solutions and responsible choices. In this way, Marjetica becomes a symbol of two important values: a meaningful connection to our heritage and a conscious commitment to the future.

We are delighted that we were able to celebrate World Ice Cream Day together, once again highlighting that, alongside excellent business results, connection, collaboration, and shared experiences play an equally important role.
